Structured services

In most countries, headache services should be structured in three tiers according to Lifting The Burden's headache services organizational model. The base of these services (tier 1), where most patients are treated, should be in primary care.
Such services provide the most effective and cost-effective environment and means for delivering good headache care nationwide [reference 1].
