Information for Patients

Management failure can come about because patients lack understanding of his or her illness or its treatment, and therefore fail to adhere to recommendations.

Lifting The Burden has developed a set of patient information leaflets. These are available at the time of diagnosis, or later during follow-up, for the health-care provider to hand as needed to each individual patient.

All were reviewed by the Writing and Editorial Review Group to ensure relevance in all countries.

These leaflets are currently being updated.
