The European Headache Federation seeks to improve life for those affected by headache in Europe, by improving awareness of headache disorders amongst governments, health care providers and consumers across Europe. EHF aims to create the optimal environment for headache sufferers across all Europe, so that they can enjoy a better quality of life.

The International Headache Society is the world's membership organisation for all whose professional commitment, whatever their discipline, is to helping people whose lives are affected by headache disorders.

WHA exists to relieve the suffering of people affected by headache throughout the world, in particular, by sharing information among headache organisations and by increasing the awareness and understanding of headache as a public health concern

WHO is the directing and coordinating authority for health within the United Nations system. It is responsible for providing leadership on global health matters, shaping the health research agenda, setting norms and standards, articulating evidence-based policy options, providing technical support to countries and monitoring and assessing health trends.
